EU INFORMATION CENTRE POLICY
To prepare projects in status that will improve and improve chamber activities in accordance with national and international criteria, to make organization work in order to ensure its international recognition .
By ECD in 1996, trade and/or chambers of Commerce in different regions of the country in partnership with organizations such as the EU and EU-Turkey relations in matters of EU information network was created in order to meet the information needs.
20 EU INFORMATION CENTRES LOCATED IN 20 PROVINCES
There are EU Information Centres in 20 institutions, EU information points in 17 provinces and EU documentation centres in 14 institutions. In the provinces other than Izmir and Istanbul, the activities of the EU Information Centers are carried out in cooperation with the chambers of Commerce and/or industry.
EU INFORMATION CENTRES NETWORK COORDINATION UNIT
The project to support the EU Information Centres Network was signed between the delegation of the European Union to Turkey and the Kayseri Chamber of Commerce on 15 September 2011. The contract was renewed annually and expired on 28 November 2015.
The strengthening of the EU Information Network project was signed between the delegation of the European Union to Turkey and the Kayseri Chamber of Commerce on 30 November 2012. On 29 November 2013, the project contract was renewed again between Kayseri Chamber of Commerce and the delegation of the European Union to Turkey.

KAYSERI EU INFORMATION CENTER SERVICES
Within the scope of the protocol between the Kayseri Chamber of Commerce and the delegation of the European Union to Turkey, it was established and started its activities on 07 January 1997. The EU Information Centre aims to promote and inform the social, political, economic and cultural policies of the European Union. Our unit is managed by the coordinator of the EU Information Centre.
Services That We Offer:
You can participate free of charge in active information activities such as seminars, conferences, panels that we often organize in order to promote the social, political, economic and cultural policies of the European Union in our province.
Books, booklets, brochures, etc.on the subject of the European Union. publications are available free of charge.
You can apply to our EU Information Centre to request oral or written information about the EU institutions, policies, enlargement and negotiation process.
Cultural, social, youth, vocational education, employment etc. you can request information about grant programs and projects.
You can request information about access to various EU databases.
You can participate in the “Youth Conference/ European Youth forums " organized for university students in cooperation with the delegation of the European Union to Turkey and the EU Information Centers, and you can get cultural and social information about youth relations in Turkey and the European Union.
The conference, panels and workshops are being held throughout the country and the European team of experts on EU issues are providing speakers.

ACTIVITIES AND MEETINGS ATTENDED BY EU INFORMATION CENTRE COORDINATORS
June 31 May - June 1, 2018, EU Information Center Coordinator Pakize Bulut participated in the coordination meeting on “EU – Turkey relations – “political messages on the current agenda” organized for EU Information Center coordinators in order to raise EU awareness and create synergies at the Turkish Economic Policy Research Foundation.
9 MAY EUROPE DAY CHILDREN'S FILM FESTIVAL EVENT
May 9 may Europe Day celebrations by Kayseri Chamber of Commerce EU Information Center in cooperation with Kayseri Provincial National Directorate on May 11, 2018 Ipeksaray shopping mall Cinelux movie theaters “Europe Day Children's film screening” was held. European Union Day was celebrated with the event organized to give the children from the provinces and districts the value they deserve and to instill the culture of cinema. Approximately 500 students from 10 schools participated in the event, giving students promotional items and EU publications.
CLIMATE ACTION WEEK " DRAMA AND FILM SCREENING EVENT
Kayseri Chamber of Commerce organized a series of events on 05 October 2018 in cooperation with EU Information Center and Kayseri Provincial National Directorate to highlight the importance of individual action to raise awareness on climate change and Environmental Protection and to increase dialogue platforms at local level.
KTO Chairman Ömer Gülsoy, who made the opening speech of the program held in the KTO Training Hall, emphasized that climate change is one of the biggest problems facing humanity and emphasized that every individual should take responsibility in the fight against this problem. In addition, the director of the Provincial National Education Branch, Şemun Akman, provided information to the participants about climate change.
Climate Action Week Climate Action Week was celebrated with the screening of ’drama event’ for Primary School students and ’Grain-2017’ film written and directed by Semih Kaplanoğlu for teachers with the participation of theatre actor Ayşen Inci.
KTO EU INFORMATION CENTRE 8. EU HUMAN RIGHTS FILM DAYS
Kayseri Chamber of Commerce EU Information Center and European Union Delegation to Turkey, 10 December this year to mark International Human Rights Day 8. The EU organised Human Rights Film Days.
The event, which started with the screening of” a story with music", was attended by Erol Sirikli, treasurer member of the board of Directors of KTO, Talas District Director of National Education, Chairman and board members of Kayseri Bar Association provincial Human Rights Commission, members of Kayseri Provincial Human Rights Board and President and members of Turkish women's Union Association.
Making the opening speech of the Film Days event, KTO Board Treasurer member Erol Polikli said that the films shown in the three-day festival were selected from the films that have received awards in international and national film competitions.
Emphasizing that the EU Human Rights Film Days aims to bring film lovers and concerned citizens together in an environment created to raise awareness, discuss and think, he said: “this year marks the 70th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Kayseri Chamber of Commerce as the EU Information Center to celebrate 8. We are joining with the EU Human Rights Film Days, " he said.
The event, where small gifts were presented to those who came to see the film, ended with the films to be shown on 13 December 16.00. Screenings under Human Rights Film Days are open to the public and free of charge
8 MARCH INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY EVENT FROM THE KTO EU INFORMATION CENTRE
Kayseri Chamber of Commerce (KTO) EU Information Center and TOBB Kayseri Women Entrepreneurs board cooperation 'International Women's day' was organized to mark the program. KTO Chairman Ömer Gülsoy made the opening speech of the program which started with the" women before Turkey " exhibition. Program, after the speech of President Gülsoy Dr.Öğr.She continued with the "women in business" panel of the entrepreneurial women of Kayseri, moderated by her member Füsun ACAR.
The program, which was held in the KTO conference hall, ended with the screening of the film 'hopeful story', which told The Story of the Republican Women's Choir, which was founded in the Ertugrul village of Lüleburgaz on the initiative of Şükran Akdeniz, a retired music teacher.
Kayseri EU Information Center celebrated International Women's day with the intense interest of the participants in both informative and cultural events it organized.
